In the mountain village of Saint-Marcel a centuries-old chestnut tree marks the beginning of a path that leads upwards through enchanting alpine pastures. At the head of the valley gushes an extraordinary spring called the Acqueverdi. The unique mineral content of its waters turns the rocks over which it tumbles into dazzling bright emeralds. Gentian, malva and rosa alpina grow in profusion on the banks of the stream. It is this water and these mountain herbs that make our gin so unique.
